Captain Planet
Captain Planet is a globetrotting DJ & music producer, world renowned for his trademark blend of eclectic global music styles & his passionate high energy DJ sets where he seamlessly jumps between house, global bass, Latin, Afrobeat, Reggae, Funk & Disco. Wilder’s eclectic music blog MixtapeRiot.com and online radio show Mixtape Riot Radio have both become popular go-to for DJ’s, tastemakers, and music lovers worldwide.
The Gumbo Brothers
The Gumbo Brothers is a Los Angeles based New Orleans style funk and jazz band founded in 2002 by guitarist and vocalist Johann Stein. Over the years the band has released albums, performed internationally and have been featured on television shows. The Gumbo Brothers are often featured at local Los Angeles public concerts and perform weekly at clubs in Hollywood and downtown Los Angeles, most recently at Santa Monica’s Americana in the Park.
Tosstones & La Freetanga
Tosstones Aponte is a GRAMMY-nominated musician, composer & producer from Puerto Rico, known for his Afro-Caribbean sounds that build bridges through music, dance & culture. He’ll bring along his band La Freetanga, merging salsa, hip hop, reggaeton, Caribbean music, afrobeats, jazz & more.
Laroye Aña
Laroye Aña is an LA-based Cuban choreographer, professional dancer, & dance instructor. She has performed for various Cuban artist such as Havana D' Primera, Sergio Mendes and Telmary Diaz. She shares Afro-Cuban culture and the connections with Salsa, Afro Brazilian dance and more. Join her for an all-ages, all-levels Salsa Dance class at the Main Stage at 3pm.
Atasiea
Host/emcee Atasiea (a.k.a. Kenneth Lawrence Ferguson) is a professional Healer, Actor, Dancer, Yogi, and Martial Artist. A certified Dancing Freedom Facilitator, Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Instructor, Capoeira Angola instructor, Reiki Master, and Minister, he is the Co-Founder of both The Dharma Creation Institute, and Ecstatic Dance Los Angeles, a freeform dance event with yoga, massage, sound healing, and live DJs.
Bloco Obini
Opening procession at noon with Bloco Obini, an all-women drum ensemble who bring together educators, nurses, activists, dance instructors, mothers, students and healers dedicated to using rhythm to heal, educate and uplift the community. The procession begins on the 1200 block at Wilshire and continues to the Broadway main stage.

Santa Monica History Museum
Santa Monica History Museum presents an installation of historical photographs that touch on themes of business/downtown, industry, beach life, recreation/clubs and government. Find the exhibit in the center of the Promenade near the Info Booth.
Meztli Projects
Meztli Projects creates artistic opportunities for Native and Indigenous Artists as-well-as systems-impacted youth living and creating in Los Angeles County (Tovaangar). In this hands-on printmaking workshop entitled “LOVE NOTES TO KURUVUNGNA,” honoring our plant and animal relatives of Santa Monica. Using linoblocks inspired by Tongva basketry patterns, plants and animals, create unique prints layering colors, patterns and designs.
Faith-Ann Young
Join Camera Obscura Artist-in-Residence Faith-Ann Young for Sumi-e Free Expression, an outdoor art workshop inspired by traditional Japanese ink painting. Participants will use brushes, ink, and water to paint expressive studies of seasonal plants and branches drawn from a winter still-life tablescape. In her work, artist Faith-Ann creates meditative spaces where the community can slow down, reconnect, and explore creativity through flow and observation.
Studios 3026 presents Mobina Nouri
Studios 3026 presents Masks & Character Creation, a collage workshop with Mobina Nouri, a multidisciplinary Iranian-born artist based in Los Angeles. This playful, hands-on workshop invites children into the magical world of collage through the creation of imaginative masks and expressive greeting cards. They will explore textures, colors, and shapes as they learn to layer materials, craft characters, and bring their ideas to life.
Care Cafe
City of Santa Monica's 150th Anniversary Microgrant Awardee, Sanyu Estelle, presents Care Cafe, providing free, culturally authentic healing services to ensure equitable wellness access for all. Similar to the “Repair Cafe” Model, but focused on wellness, explore Readings, Sessions and Consultations for the community with practitioners of diverse traditions and modalities. Each practitioner has over a decade of practice in their modality, including Latinx, Indigenous, Asian, African and European traditions and practices.

Downtown Farmers Market
Santa Monica Farmers Markets create thriving, vibrant communities that are inclusive, connected, and diverse by promoting the prosperity of California farmers and small food businesses, preservation of the agricultural arts and sustainable food systems.
The Saturday market was established in 1991 and presents the largest percentage of certified organic growers of Santa Monica’s four markets. Locals and tourists browse over 40 farm stands at this weekend market which is adjacent to the Third Street Promenade.
Come early, the Downtown Farmers Market is open from 8am-1pm.
